Something New-- Now It Will Spring Forth!

My site name comes from one of my favorite verses in the Bible--  “Behold, I will do something new, Now it will spring forth; Will you not be aware of it?"  Is.43:19

I hope and pray that all of us will perceive and understand what the Lord is doing in our lives, the lives of others, and the world around us, near and far.

Notice the verse before it too-- "Do not call to mind the former things, or ponder the things of the past" Is. 43:18.  In other words, we can learn from the past, but we shouldn't get stuck in it.  Too often we let the past, especially the bad and hurtful stuff, become like quicksand, dragging us down and choking the life out of us.  The Lord is saying, "It's time to move on.  Focus on what I'm doing and about to do... something NEW!"  Again, this doesn't mean to get rid of the good and necessary that's been in our lives already (like your old friends, your mate, knowledge gleaned from classes and experience, etc.)!  It does mean "Add more-- of the good, the best, and the necessary, from God".  It does mean "Let Him change you for the better... you don't have to keep being and doing what you were, especially when it didn't work well."  Top companies even know not to keep doing "business as usual"! :)

Thank God we're never stuck.  As one speaker put it, "It's never too late to start doing what is right!"
